Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

We are in need of additional Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion – EMHC (also known as Eucharistic Ministers). The need exists for those who are serious about their relationship with God and desire to serve Him humbly and faithfully by sharing the Eucharist with fellow parishioners, including those in institutional settings. Those interested in this ministry should be deeply convinced of Jesus' true presence in the Eucharist, and show a genuine devotion and reverence to the Eucharist in both their public and private prayer.

To be eligible, you need to be at least 18 years old and a fully initiated Catholic, which means you are baptized and have received the Sacrament of Confirmation. If you’re married, it needs to be a valid sacramental marriage in the Catholic Church. You must also be a registered member of the parish and in full compliance with diocesan Safe Environments policies. A final recommendation to the diocese by our pastor, Father Bob, is also required.
