What is the purpose of the program?
Our mission is simple:
To help and serve our neighbors in need.
We perform essential home repairs in Preston County, W.Va., while offering spiritual support.
We also support our local community through our "Local Initiative Program."
Where do we go and where do we stay?
We travel to Terra Alta, W.Va. (approx. 2.5 hours away). We stay at Camp Galilee, a beautiful facility capable of housing 100 campers with separate facilities for men and women.
What is the cost to attend?
The cost is $295, which includes room, board, and meals. Fundraising activities are held throughout the spring to help participants defray this cost.
How old do I need to be?
Upcoming 9th graders, high school students, young adults, and adult volunteers are all welcome!
Do I need construction skills?
No. You simply need a serving attitude and a willingness to learn. You will find you receive much more than just the skill of swinging a hammer.
