We are a Roman Catholic parish joyfully journeying toward holiness and salvation. Inspired by Martha's heart of hospitality and service and Mary's spirit of prayer and discipleship, we invite all to join us in centering our lives around Jesus Christ in Word, Sacrament, and Community.
Our Vision
A joyful Roman Catholic parish, with members actively engaged in all aspects of parish life, inspired and equipped to share the faith. All will feel welcomed to worship and serve, generously sharing their time and talents to enrich our faith community.
On Saturday, May 30, Deacon Gabriel was ordained to the transitional diaconate. On Sunday, May 31, we were blessed to welcome him home to Saints Martha and Mary Parish for his very first preaching Mass assisting Father Bob Vular! the priesthood!
On Ash Wednesday 2004 Tracey Laun was at home recovering from the birth of her son, in pain, and disappointed that she was unable to attend Mass to receive ashes. Her husband, Greg, called Saint Teresa of Avila church in Perrysville to ask if the family could come quietly after Mass for ashes and was told that someone would call them back.
It is with great joy that I write to you. The Lord, through prayerful discernment, spiritual direction, and the Chief Shepherd of the diocese, has called me to serve His Church through ordination to the diaconate.
