The role of the cantor is to lead the congregation in song during the Liturgy, including the psalm and the gospel acclamation. Cantor should have a pleasant singing voice, collaborating with the organist, and be comfortable speaking announcements and singing in front of a congregation.
Any instrumentalist who has trained and has advanced playing skills is invited to assist in leading music at mass. Your musical presence can greatly enhance our worship experience. Contact Jim Skalos for more information.
