As you know, we have been without a Parochial Vicar for the past 2 months when Fr. Dan Waruszewski went on a leave of absence for health reasons. We continue to keep Father Dan in our prayers.
As an update, I want to share with you that we are getting a temporary replacement. Fr. Richard Ulam, O.S.B., a Benedictine Monk of Saint Vincent Archabbey in Latrobe, has been temporarily assigned to do replacement ministry here at Saints Martha and Mary Parish. He will be arriving on October 15th. He is scheduled to be with us until the next clergy transfers take place in June 2027. At that time, a permanent Parochial Vicar will be assigned to the parish.
Fr Richard is coming to us from Regina Caeli Parish, Bellevue, Franklin Park, Emsworth. He did replacement ministry there when the pastor was ill. I will provide more information as it develops, but just wanted to keep you updated.
Please continue to pray for vocations to the priesthood and religious life.
