Council Membership Transition

As the council rotates members and welcomes new ones, the parish thanks current members for their service and seeks new individuals to continue this important work. Over the summer, information will be shared and conversations held to help identify new council members.

Process to Identify New Members

• Bulletin Inserts: A series of three inserts will explain the council’s role.
• Information Sessions:
  • Saturday, September 20 at 9:00 am – St. Richard
  • Wednesday, October 1 at 7:00 pm – St. Catherine
• Discernment Session:
  • Saturday, October 18 at 9:00 am – St. Catherine

Father Bob will prayerfully consider the results and invite new members to the November meeting.

A Prayer for the Pastoral Selection Process

Come Holy Spirit, show us your way. Guide our parish discernment process so we may better select those who should guide through the work of the Parish Pastoral Council.
Give us wisdom to know the gifts you call forth from among us.
Give us courage to respond generously to your call.
Give us hearts open to your Spirit.
Lead us into deeper communion with you and with each other.
We pray in His name, who with you and the Father is one God, forever and ever. Amen.
