One of the most beautiful prayers in our Catholic tradition is the Holy Rosary. In fact, the entire month of October is dedicated in the liturgical calendar to the Rosary.

One of the beautiful things about being people of faith, especially Christian faith, is that other people often request us to lift up in prayer their personal special intentions.

For married couples, dipping into this treasure trove can be a comforting way to pray together, with the hopes of strengthening their marital bond and their family life.

Praying together as a couple does not have to be a complicated (or frightening) process.

Various studies over the years have proven that couples who pray together experience numerous marital benefits, including increased forgiveness, trust, happiness, and unity.

The purpose of a Parish Pastoral Council is to foster the full participation of the parish in the Church's mission, including worship, community, faith growth, and service. It serves as a consultative and advisory body to the pastor, assisting in pastoral planning and promoting the common good of the parish.

In the Jubilee year, debts were forgiven, slaves freed, land returned to the family of origin. Even the price of land when it was sold was based on the number of years until the next jubilee.
